I am Manoj Bohara, an enthusiastic automobile engineer with a strong foundation in vehicle mechanics, design, and sustainable innovations. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering from Tribhuvan University, where I gained extensive knowledge in automotive systems, mechanical design, and optimization techniques. With hands-on experience from Hyundai, Mahindra, and Subaru, I have developed expertise in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and customer service. My role as a Mechanical Engineer at Super Trishuli Hydropower Project has further strengthened my skills in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and project management. I am particularly passionate about research and innovation in the automotive industry. My final-year project focused on converting waste plastic into fuel and studying its viability in SI engines, reflecting my keen interest in sustainable engineering solutions.

Experience
Support Manager
- Supervise and coordinate all after-sales service activities, including maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure efficient service scheduling and job allocation to technicians.
- Ensure timely and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers and resolve service-related issues.
- Coordinate with the spare parts department to ensure availability of essential parts for repairs.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Monitor warranty claims and coordinate with manufacturers for necessary support.
- Equipment (includes excavator, boomer, shotcrete, dumper, loader and others) and Plant maintenance and repair, Troubleshooting and Planning for preventive maintenance and exploration of ways to avoid equipment breakdown in future
- Technical evaluation of critical spares and spare parts and research of plant performance and work with the operator staff to identify issues and implement optimizations.
- Responsible for the overall management, leadership, direction, and proper operation of a hydropower plant.
- Review and comment on all plant incident reports; analyze equipment failures; determine causes; recommend recovery plans; and develop cost-effective solutions to prevent re-occurrence.
- Prepare daily equipment status and breakdown report and sent it to the head office and other management team and discuss on it to reduce the mean time to repair (MTTR).
- Vehicle Inspection and Service Recommendations: Identify problems or maintenance needs and recommend appropriate services.
- Quality Work: Check the quality of work of the mechanics and technicians and do final inspection of vehicle operating condition such as noise, sound, color of exhaust gases, body/engine vibration etc.
- PDI: Conduct Pre Delivery Inspection for new vehicles before delivering to the customers.
- Technical Learning: Study and learn service manual of the company’s different vehicle models and upgrade with the ongoing latest technology and also conduct special attentions and provide guidance in major tasks such as engine overhauling, transmission box/gear box over hauling, operating scanning tools etc.
